A new leader has been appointed president and CEO of NDC Construction. Les Snyder was named to the post, while the owner of the Bradenton-based company, Ron Allen, will serve as chairman. Allen had been the CEO and president since the company’s founding in 1997.

“Les is a proven leader with the experience, relationships and strategic vision to take NDC into its next era,” Allen says in a statement. “He brings a deep respect for the trades and a passion for building projects that serve communities and support local economies. I am confident Les will lead the company and team with integrity, grit and forward momentum.”

Snyder comes to NDC Construction most recently from Brightline West, where he led a team in Las Vegas, Nevada, building a more than $10 billion high-speed passenger rail system to Los Angeles, California. His career has focused on infrastructure and commercial projects, including roles as president of S&B USA in Pittsburgh, president and CEO of i+iconUSA in Pennsylvania and president and CEO of Barton Malow in Michigan. He was also president of the trade organization Associated General Contractors of America in 2023. Snyder holds a bachelor of science degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

As president and CEO of NDC Construction, Snyder, the release states, plans to focus on expanding the company's capabilities, investing in talent and strengthening its position across the Gulf Coast and beyond as a leading construction partner, according to a statement.

NDC Construction posted $174 million in revenue in 2024 — up from $142 million in 2023 — and has more than 60 full-time employees. It was No. 14 on the Business Observer’s Top 50 Contractors list for 2025, based on revenue. Among its current projects are building the Bradenton Police Department headquarters and Lake Manatee K-8 School.

“NDC is in a period of rapid growth, and that momentum needs to be matched by strong internal systems, thoughtful leadership and a clear vision,” Snyder says in the statement. “My focus is on strengthening our operational foundation and developing the next generation of construction leaders. NDC is evolving as a company, and that starts with telling our story and executing with purpose.”
